One of the best things I did when I got Stryker was to take one of the small toys from the house. I asked for the soft pound puppy. Stryker kept that will him until he settled in. He only whined when he was cold - and in our house that is common. My husband would hold him in his lap until he fell asleep and then gently put him back in his crate. We also added a $4 fleece blanket for him to tear up or do what ever. One time I got up and Steve had fallen asleep with Stryker in his lap on the couch. Then he laid across the couch, grabbed a blanket and covered himself and Stryker up with it. If i thought I could have stolen a photograph of it, I would have. It was just darling. But I digress...
your pup is lonely and needs some companionship. She'll settle in a few days. Just let her play until she is wore out. Give her lots of stuff to chew on. Old socks tied in knots, ropes, etc.
